The Farmers

Established in 1927, the Historic Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market was home to the original central food hub and farmers market for Oklahoma City until the 1980’s, featuring farmer stalls offering fruits, vegetables, and meats, as well as, hosting the largest farmers market in Oklahoma. After years of outward migration by local food distributors and local farmers, the Historic Oklahoma City Farmers Market District is on the rise again, centered around local food and entertainment.

In addition to being a premier event center for Oklahoma City, the Historic Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market hosts a weekly farmers market on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm on the first floor of the main market building (311 S. Klein Avenue).  Featuring produce vendors, such as Jesko Farms, meat vendors like Walnut Creek Farms, aggregators like Urban Agrarian, and dairy vendors such as Lovera’s Cheese Company, the weekly farmers market in the District is an excellent source of locally produced produce, meat, dairy, baked goods, honey, artisan crafts, and more!  Whether you’re looking to purchase ingredients for your weekly meals or want a bloody mary/mimosa and a day at the market, the Historic Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market has you covered!

Plenty of booth spaces are available for interested food and non-food vendors.  Please submit an application online or contact Bud Scott at bud@farmersmarket.factory-sixteen.com for an opportunity to join this exciting, growing market!

If you cannot make it to one of our weekend farmers markets, come visit our permanent vendors who carry many of the same products sold during the weekend farmers market. Each farmer’s stand in our district is owner-operated and personally stocked with hand grown plants and produce. Each vendor welcomes calls and most are happy to schedule private shopping appointments.
